SUNDA CC68 car charger series at a glance

The CC68 is one four-port platform built around a 12-24V cigarette lighter plug: two USB-A ports for QC fast charge and two USB-C ports for PD, sharing a single protection board. Because the housing, the input stage and the protection circuit are the same across the range, the only thing that changes between the models is how much power the board will negotiate and what the body looks like — a clear shell, a grey body, or a black body with an RGB light ring.

That makes the series easier to buy than it looks. Pick the power rating that matches the market you sell into, pick the body style, and the rest of the unit — input range, port count, fireproof housing, certifications — stays the same, so a mixed order ships on one carton plan and one set of documents. The five ratings in the range are 30W, 38W, 60W, 66W and 120W / 126W; the 38W is a smaller two-port unit and sits apart from the four-port models.

What you are buying

One four-port platform, five power ratings

Every four-port model in the range charges four devices at once from a single socket: two USB-A ports at QC 18W or QC 30W depending on the rating, and two USB-C ports at PD 30W or PD 60W. The step up between the ratings is not a cosmetic one — it is what the USB-C ports can carry. At 30W and 60W the USB-C ports are sized for phones and tablets; at 120W they will hold a PD 60W profile, which is the point at which a thin-and-light laptop becomes a realistic load.

Body styles: a clear shell, a grey or black body, or a light ring

The transparent mould is the signature of the CC68 — the housing is clear enough to show the board and the shield inside, which reads as an engineering product rather than a generic plug, and it photographs well on a marketplace listing. The same platform also ships in a grey body with a printed output table, in a black body, and in a black body with an RGB light ring around the face that indicates charging state. Body style is chosen independently of rating, so a buyer can match the look a channel needs without changing the electrical design.

One input for car, SUV and truck

A 12-24V input means a single SKU goes into a passenger car and a light commercial vehicle. A distributor does not have to split the line by vehicle class, and a fleet buyer does not have to check the socket voltage before ordering. The plug body tapers and uses spring-loaded side contacts, so it holds in a worn socket rather than rocking loose on a rough road.

CC68 power versions compared

The five ratings in the range are set out below. Every four-port model takes the same 12-24V input and shares the same fireproof housing; the difference is the per-port output, which is what decides what a buyer can actually charge from it.

Why buyers add the CC68 to the range

  • Five ratings off one tool. A distributor can hold a 30W for price-led listings, a 60W or 66W for the mainstream, and a 120W for the buyers who ask what the USB-C port can actually carry — without opening five sets of tooling or five sets of documents.
  • A transparent mould that sells itself. The clear housing shows the board, which is the difference between a listing photo that looks like every other plug and one that reads as a built product.
  • Four ports, not two. The four-port layout is what stops a family or a ride-hail driver from having to choose which device gets charged first, and it is the layout that buyers search for by port count rather than by wattage.
  • 120W for the laptop question. The top of the range holds a PD 60W profile per USB-C port, so it is the model that answers the request for in-car laptop charging without moving to a different product family.
  • A private mould and 12 months warranty. Custom colour, logo and output combination do not wait on a new tool, and the warranty period is stated per unit rather than left to the channel.
  • RFQ from 5 pieces. Enough to put the unit in a vehicle and confirm the fit and the cable run before committing to a production order.

OEM and ODM options

Because the four-port CC68 is a private mould, a branding run is the normal order rather than an exception: your logo on the housing, a body colour matched to your line, and a face plate printed with your output table. The transparent shell can be tinted, and the RGB version can be set to a fixed colour or left as a status indicator. Packaging can be a window box, a blister, a hanging card or a poly bag with your artwork and your manual inside. If your market needs a specific certification route, send the destination country with the enquiry and the sales team will set out the documents alongside unit pricing, sample lead time and the carton plan.

Frequently asked questions about the SUNDA CC68 car charger series

What is the difference between the CC68 30W, 60W, 66W and 120W models?

All four are four-port: two USB-A and two USB-C, on the same 12-24V input and the same fireproof housing. They differ in what the ports can negotiate. The 30W model carries a 30W output budget with PD 30W on one USB-C port. The 60W and 66W models give two PD 30W USB-C ports with PPS up to 33W, and differ in body style and in how the total is written. The 120W gives two USB-C ports at PD 60W with PPS up to 63W, which is the only rating that will hold a laptop charge.

Will the CC68 charge a laptop in the car?

On the 120W model, yes: each USB-C port provides a 60W PD profile, with PPS up to 63W, which is enough for a thin-and-light laptop. The 30W, 60W and 66W models are sized for phones, tablets and earbuds. Use a PD-rated USB-C cable in every case — a charge-only cable will cap the current no matter what the port is rated at.

Does the CC68 work in a 24V truck?

Yes. The input accepts 12-24V, so the same unit works in a 12V passenger car and a 24V van, SUV or light commercial vehicle. No converter and no separate SKU is needed.

What does the transparent housing mean for durability?

The transparent shell is the same PC fireproof material as the solid versions, moulded in a clear grade rather than an opaque one. It is rated for the same cabin temperature range and carries the same CE, RoHS and FCC certification; the only difference is that the board and shield are visible.

How many devices can the CC68 charge at once?

Four on the four-port models and two on the 38W dual-port model. The four-port models split the output across two USB-A and two USB-C ports, and the board allocates power across the ports as devices are added rather than shutting a port off.

What is the MOQ, and can the CC68 be branded?

Stock four-port units start at 5 pcs, the 38W dual-port model starts at 5000 pcs, and OEM/ODM branding runs start at 500 pcs. As the four-port housing is our own private mould, custom colour, logo and packaging are all possible. Send your artwork and the destination market and the sales team will confirm the print method, the certification route and the schedule within 24 hours.

Where each model sits. The 120W four-port and the 66W four-port are the two group pages for the range; the 30W four-port covers the entry rating and the 38W dual-port is the separate two-port unit. The rest of the SUNDA line sits under car chargers — the CC-53 series for 48W to 140W plug-in models, the CC-60 backseat car charger for rear-seat charging, and the CC-62 series for retractable and coiled-cable models. They all take the same 12-24V input, so a mixed order ships on one carton plan.
