A charging cable that shows you the wattage, in real time
This is the SUNDA YD-TP01 USB-C to USB-C cable with a digital display built into one connector. The display reads out the live charging wattage as the device negotiates power, so a phone pulling 30W shows 30W and a laptop pulling 100W shows 100W. For anyone who has wondered whether a particular charger and cable combination is actually delivering full speed — or whether a cheap cable is throttling the charge — the readout settles it at a glance.
The cable supports 5A fast charging up to 100W on the USB-C Power Delivery rail, which covers the ceiling of every current phone, tablet and most laptops. The jacket is PVC over a silicone-insulated core, braided for flexibility on the outside, with USB-C to USB-C connectors at both ends. It is a private-mold part, made on SUNDA tooling in Shenzhen.
What you are buying
The digital display is the point
The connector housing carries a small segment display that shows the negotiated wattage in watts. When the cable is plugged into a PD charger and a device, the display reads the active power contract — not the charger’s rated maximum, but what the device actually drew at that moment. A phone near full charge may show 12W; the same phone at 20% may show 27W; a laptop may show 90W. It is a diagnostic tool as much as a charging cable.
100W PD, 5A, USB-C to USB-C
The cable is rated for 100W on the USB-C Power Delivery rail at 5A. That is the current ceiling for USB-C cables and covers the fastest charging profile any phone or tablet on the market uses. The connectors are USB-C at both ends, which is the standard for everything from the iPhone 15 onward, the iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy S-series, Google Pixel, and most laptops that charge over USB-C.
PVC jacket over a silicone-insulated core
The outer jacket is braided PVC for abrasion resistance, over a silicone-insulated conductor core. The combination is flexible enough to coil, stiff enough to resist kinking, and rated for the temperatures a 100W cable reaches under sustained load. The connectors are overmoulded.

Why buyers add it to the range
- The display sells the cable. A charging cable with a live wattage readout is a visible upgrade over a plain cable — the kind of feature that distinguishes a SKU on a retail page and justifies a higher price point.
- 100W covers the ceiling. No current phone or tablet draws more than 100W over USB-C. The cable is not the bottleneck in any charging combination a buyer is likely to assemble.
- Diagnostic value. Buyers who wonder whether a particular charger is delivering full speed, or whether a device has throttled back as it nears full, can read the answer off the cable without a separate meter.
- Private mold, OEM branding. The housing is SUNDA tooling, so body colour, logo, packaging and manual can be produced to your artwork on a branded run of 500 pcs.
OEM and ODM options
The YD-TP01 is built on SUNDA’s own tool, so a branded order is a production run rather than a moulding project. Body colour, logo print, the marking on the connector housing, the retail packaging and the language of the manual are all produced to your artwork. Send the version, the destination market and the quantity per run, and the sales team will confirm unit pricing, the certification documents for that market and the production schedule.
Frequently asked questions about the SUNDA YD-TP01 digital display cable
What does the digital display show?
It shows the live charging wattage — the power the connected device is actually drawing at that moment, not the charger’s rated maximum. The readout updates as the device negotiates power and as it throttles back near full charge.
Does the cable itself limit the charging speed?
The cable is rated for 100W at 5A, which is the current ceiling for USB-C cables. If a charger and device combination negotiates 100W, the cable will deliver it. If a combination negotiates less, the display will show that lower figure.
Will it work with an iPhone 15 or later?
Yes. The iPhone 15 onwards uses USB-C, and this is a USB-C to USB-C cable. The iPhone’s charging speed over USB-C is capped by Apple’s own power management; the display will show whatever wattage the iPhone actually draws.
Is the cable USB-C to USB-C only, or does it have a USB-A end?
It is USB-C to USB-C. There is no USB-A variant of the YD-TP01. For a USB-A to USB-C cable, see the SUNDA coiled cable range.
Can the display be customized or branded?
The housing is SUNDA tooling, so the body colour, logo and packaging are produced to your artwork on OEM and ODM runs of 500 pcs per version. The display itself is a standard segment readout and is not reprogrammable.
What is the minimum order?
Stock models start from 10 pcs. OEM and ODM branding runs start at 500 pcs per version.
