The SUNDA HC-4 is a 30W GaN wall charger with a folding plug: the pins rotate through 90 degrees and sit flat against the body, so the charger disappears into a pocket instead of catching on everything in the bag. The face carries one USB-C port at PD 30W and one USB-A port at QC 18W, which is the pairing that covers a modern phone at full speed and still charges the older handsets in the same drawer. A 20W version shares the same housing and the same plug tooling.

What you are buying with the HC-4
The folding plug and the metal-bezel face

The 90 degree fold is the feature that sells this part: the pins rotate back into the body, so the charger travels without a bulkhead and without a travel pouch. Around the port face there is a machined bezel that frames the two connectors and takes the wear that a pocket normally puts on a plastic edge. GaN (gallium nitride) is what makes the body this small for the wattage: the switch runs cooler and more efficiently than silicon, so the heatsink and the air gap can be smaller without the housing getting hot to hold. The practical effect for a buyer is a charger that fits a pocket where a same-wattage silicon brick would not. The housing is 46 by 41 by 21 mm and 58 g, which is small enough to leave in a bag permanently.
PD 30W on the USB-C port and QC 18W on the USB-A

The USB-C port negotiates PD up to 30W, which is the full-rate charge for a current phone and a top-up rate for a tablet. The USB-A port runs QC 18W for the older handsets and for accessories. With both ports in use they share 5V/3A. PD 3.0 is the negotiation layer, not a fixed voltage. The charger and the handset agree on a profile from the list printed on the label, so a phone that asks for 9V gets 9V, a tablet that asks for 15V gets 15V, and a device that only wants 5V never sees more than 5V. The same housing is offered as a 20W version with PD 20W on the USB-C port, and the plug is available as US, EU or UK.

Why buyers add the HC-4 to the range
- The folding plug is the selling point. Nothing to catch in a bag and no travel pouch needed, which is the question a customer asks before price.
- One housing, two wattages. The 20W and the 30W version come off the same tool, so a mixed order keeps one packaging artwork and one mould.
- USB-C and USB-A together. A modern phone at PD 30W and an older handset at QC 18W from the same charger, without asking the customer to replace a cable.
- 58 g and 46 mm wide. Small enough to stay in a bag, which is how this class of charger gets repeat purchases rather than one-off sales.
- US, EU and UK plugs. Three market variants from one tool, which is what makes it workable as a single line item across several storefronts.
OEM and ODM options
The housing is our own tool, so a branding run is the normal order: your logo on the face, a housing colour matched to your line, and your artwork on a window box, blister or poly bag with your manual inside. The plug can be supplied as US, EU or UK from the same mould, so a mixed programme ships on one carton plan. Tell us the destination market on the enquiry and we will set out the certification route alongside unit pricing and sample lead time.
Frequently asked questions about the SUNDA HC-4 30W GaN charger
What does the 90 degree fold actually do?
The plug pins rotate back into the body and sit flat, so there is no protrusion to catch on the inside of a bag and the charger does not need a pouch. It also lets the charger sit flat against a wall in a tight socket.
Is this the 20W or the 30W version?
Both exist on the same housing. The 30W version carries PD 30W on the USB-C port; the 20W version carries PD 20W. Everything else — the plug, the USB-A QC 18W port, the size — is identical, so tell us the mix you want when you enquire.
Will 30W charge a laptop?
It will charge a laptop slowly and will hold a phone or a small tablet at full rate. For a 65W laptop the right part in this range is the 65W GaN dual USB-C charger or the 65W three-port wall charger.
Why keep a USB-A port on a 30W charger?
Because most households still have USB-A cables and accessories. The USB-A port runs QC 18W and shares 5V/3A with the USB-C port when both are in use, so the second device never loses its charge rate entirely.
Which plugs can I order?
US, EU and UK, all from the same tool. The plug moulding is the only difference between the three versions, so a mixed order does not need separate tooling or a separate packaging design.
What is the MOQ and how fast can I get samples?
Stock models start at 10 pcs and OEM/ODM branding runs at 500 pcs. Custom logo and packaging take a little longer because the print has to be set up; send your artwork and the sales team will confirm the method, the certification route and the schedule within 24 hours.
Related SUNDA wall chargers. This is the pocketable phone charger in the range. The rest of the range is the 65W three-port USB-C wall charger, 65W GaN dual USB-C wall charger and 20W and 30W GaN wall charger, and the single-port 20W USB-C PD 3.0 wall charger for buyers who want the lowest-cost brick. All of them share the same 100-240V input and the same plug tooling, so a mixed order ships on one carton plan. The full line sits under wall chargers.
